I stayed at the Smaragdi for 6 nights recently and every minute there was a pleasure. Rooms are more spacious than most in Greece. You’re 1/2 block from the beach. The pool is lovely and the poolside area has plenty of shade as well as sun. The breakfast buffet has many choices and it is a treat to eat outside on the pool bar patio. The help–from the front desk to the maids to the folks in the bar couldn’t be nicer. Also–this side of Santorini is really relaxing as compared to Fira. No wait for restaurants, plenty of beach access and amenities. You won’t be disappointed.
