Just got back from a week at Smaragdi Hotel with my sister and cannot praise it enough. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms and it was spotless with a great bathroom with rainshower plus handheld shower, both with strong pressure. The room was not very big but very comfortable. We asked to change our pillows for softer ones on the first night and this was done immediately. The outside areas were constantly being cleaned and the pool was always sparkling. Only a minute from the beaches of Perivolos and Perissa with many tavernas to choose from. An added bonus was no charge for majority of sunbeds on the beach if you simply bought a drink from the relevant bar/restaurant they belonged to. For a relaxing break i thoroughly recommend this hotel.
